DCPS Volunteer Registration
Duval County School District requires all adults to complete a background check to volunteer with or chaperone students. By completing an application, you will provide DCPS with the information necessary to conduct a criminal background check.
When your volunteer application is approved, your status will typically be good for two years from the date that clearance was granted.
It takes 5-10 business days to process your volunteer application. When planning for field trips, specific day volunteer opportunities, etc., please plan accordingly to give ample time to process your application.
Once your application is processed, you will receive an email stating if you are approved or if your application requires additional review.
